Azerbaijan-France relations were discussed in the “Diplomatic Table”

The second meeting of the “Diplomatic Table” simulation project dedicated to Azerbaijan-France relations was held in the Department of Political Sciences of the Azerbaijan University. The students of the department of Political Science, International Trade and Logistics, and State and Public Relations discussed the historical timeline and current situation of relations between the two countries.

The event was opened by the head of the Department of Political Sciences, PhD in Political Sciences, Elvin Talishinski, who presented the topic of the day to the participants. The head of the Department noted that the purpose of the project is to develop independent research, eloquence and introduction abilities of students. The students are involved in debates and discussions on positions of countries on different issues.

After, students discussed issues like France’s co-chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group, France’s military support to Armenia and its political consequences for the South Caucasus, cultural relations of Azerbaijan-France and future perspectives.

It should be noted that the "Diplomatic Table" simulation dedicated to Azerbaijan-France relations was moderated by the head of the Department of Political Sciences, Elvin Talishinsky, and the teacher of the department, Rafig Ibrahimov. The next meeting of the "Diplomatic Table" will be held in December.
