At the meeting of Social Sciences Department of Azerbaijan University, the preliminary discussion of the dissertation work on "Social-philosophical analysis of medical-social relations in modern Azerbaijan society" submitted by Konul Rahim gizi Efendiyeva to receive the scientific degree of PhD in Philosophy was held.

The meeting chaired by Gabil Aliyev, head of the department of social sciences and reviewers prof. Kizilgul Abbasova, Ph.D. Gadir Safarov, commission members prof. Yusif Gasimov, Assoc. Nushaba Guliyeva, prof. Azer Mustafayev, prof. Habil Mammadov, Assoc. Fazil Rustamov, Assoc. Shikar Ibrahimov, Assoc. Rashad Asgarov, Ph.D. Tunzale Verdiyeva, Firuza Huseynova and teachers of the department participated. The chairman introduced the applicant to the discussion participants and informed about his scientific and pedagogical activity.

The applicant provided information about the scientific relevance of the dissertation work, the purpose and tasks of the research, the main scientific innovations, introduced the participants to the brief content of the work, and answered the questions.

Later, the professor-teacher staff of the department discussed the presented dissertation and highly evaluated it as a completed scientific research work.

In the end, it was noted that the dissertation met the requirements set by the Higher Attestation Commission for the PhD degree in philology, and it was decided to recommend it to the next stage of defense.
