At the meeting of the Department of Translation and Philology, a preliminary discussion of the thesis of Farida Arif gyzy Amrahova on the topic “Linguistic features of applause and curses in the Azerbaijani language” for the degree of PhD in philology was held.

The thesis presented at the meeting chaired by the head of the Department of Translation and Philology, associate professor Samira Mammadova was discussed and highly appreciated as a completed scientific research work.

In the end, it was noted that the thesis met the requirements set by the Supreme Attestation Commission for receiving the Ph.D degree in philology, and it was decided to recommend it to the next stage of the defense.
