At the meeting of the Department of Finance and Economics of Azerbaijan University, the preliminary discussion of Asaf Asad oghlu Kazimov's dissertation on "Directions for improving the organization of human resources management in the field of higher education" was held in order to receive the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics.

In the meeting chaired by Deputy Head of the Department of Finance and Economics, Associate Professor Nariman Buyukkishi, the reviewer was Associate Professor Vugar Nazarov, Associate Professor. Jamal Hajiyev, members of the commission d.p.e. Ibrahim Guliyev, c.e.s. , Assoc. Aliaga Ismailzadeh, c.e.s., Assoc. Agil Asadov,d.p.e. Kahraman Yusupov participated. Scientific supervisor of the doctoral student, prof. Rovshan Guliyev, teachers of the department Saadat Humbataliyeva, d.p.e. Jala Aliyeva, d.p.e. Sahib Mammadov joined the discussion online. The chairman introduced the applicant to the discussion participants and informed about his scientific and pedagogical activity.

The applicant provided information about the scientific relevance of the dissertation work, the purpose and tasks of the research, the main scientific innovations, introduced the participants to the brief content of the work, and answered the questions.

Then the participants discussed the presented dissertation and highly evaluated it as a completed scientific research work.

In the end, it was noted that the dissertation met the requirements set by the Higher Attestation Commission for the doctoral degree in economics, and it was decided to recommend it to the next stage of defense.
