At the meeting of the Azerbaijani Language and Literature Department of Azerbaijan University, the preliminary discussion of the dissertation work was held on "Creativity of Sohrab Tahir" performed by Nazrin Asif gizi Rzayeva for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Philology. At the meeting chaired by the head of Azerbaijani language and literature department, associate professor Ulviya Rahimova, the scientific adviser of the doctoral student prof. Alizade Asgarli, reviewer prof. Badirkhan Ahmadov, people's poet Vahid Aziz, teachers of the department prof. Korkhmaz Guliyev, prof. Asif Hajiyev, Khayala Jafarova, Huseyn Huseynli, Solmaz Suleymanova, Aysel Hamidova took part in it. Reviewer Assoc. Farhad Madatov and the teacher of the department prof. Maharram Gasimli joined the discussion online. The chairman introduced the candidate to the participants of the discussion and informed him about his scientific and pedagogical activity. The applicant informed about the scientific relevance of the dissertation, the goals and objectives of the research, the main scientific innovations, acquainted the participants with the brief content of the work and answered the questions. Afterwards, the teaching staff of the department discussed the presented dissertation and praised it as a completed scientific research work. In the end, it was noted that the dissertation meets the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, and it was decided to recommend it to the next stage of defense.
