An event dedicated to "Science Day" was held at Azerbaijan University.

Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Yusif Gasimov informed about the establishment and importance of the "Science Day" in Azerbaijan and the events held in our country in this regard and he discussed topics such as the scientific worldview, scientific challenges, modern scientific and technical problems and the challenges facing various fields of science.

Professor of the University Gorkhmaz Guliyev, dean of the faculty of Information and Communication Technologies Asif Pashayev, head of the department of Azerbaijani Language and Literature Ulviya Rahimova, head of the department of Finance and Economics Nariman Boyukkishi, first year master of Youth Affairs Elnur Suleymanzadeh spoke at the meeting.

It was stressed at the event that the great and historic victory of our country in the 44-day Patriotic War was possible by the courage and bravery of the Azerbaijani soldier, as well as the application of scientific innovations in the military field.

The event ended with discussions on the topic.
