Our collaborators participated in the next PETRA trainings

The next trainings of the PETRA project "Promoting excellence in teaching and learning at Azerbaijan universities" was held at Ganja State University within the framework of the European Commission's Erasmus + program. Bakhtiyar Badalov, Head of International Relations Department and Elchin Jafarov, Specialist on Monitoring and Evaluation from Azerbaijan University participated in the trainings.

Representatives of Jyvaskyla University from Finland, University of Debrecen from Hungary, University of Applied Sciences from Vienna, Austria and Gazi University from Turkey participated as lecturers in the international training.

During the training, summons for the application of the "Moodle" program with partner universities and their solutions, the factors important for the widespread use of this system, as well as group work on various tasks related to issues that have to be addressed and resolved within the project stages were implemented.

The main objective of the PETRA project is mutual exchange experience with European universities on promoting excellence in teaching and learning in higher education institutions in Azerbaijan. In the partnership with the Ministry of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic nearly 50 representatives of seven Azerbaijan Universities - Azerbaijan University, Khazar University, Nakhchivan State University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Sumgayit State University, Azerbaijan University of Languages and Baku Slavic University took part in the project.
