Afsana Abdulhasanova, the fourth year student of English-medium Finance speciality at Azerbaijan University, has studied fall semester of  2017/2018 academic year at  Anadolu University of Turkey within the “Erasmus+” exchange program. Returning back to homeland, Afsana shares her impressions about her education in Turkey.

“I have studied fall semester at the Faculty of Economics at Anadolu University in Turkey. Anadolu University is located in Eskishehir, one of the youngest and most modern cities in Turkey. Located at the same distance from the capital city Ankara and Istanbul, Eskishehir is also known as a student city.

Anadolu University is one of the largest universities in Turkey. It is a leading educational institution of Turkey in the field of correspondence education.

Anadolu University offers a learning environment with modern lecture halls, extensive social opportunities for students, exciting campus life, extra-curricular activities offered by student clubs and 24-hours open large library for every student. International students from the other countries are welcomed here by Turkish hospitality, with particular emphasis on the establishment of cultural relations and the expansion of friendship ties.

In a dynamic and innovative learning environment created here, students are provided with knowledge and skills that meet modern requirements. During my study period, I became a part of this environment, I also met Erasmus students from the other countries, made new friends, got acquainted with their culture and traditions, and more importantly got the opportunity to improve my language skills.

Every student of Azerbaijan University can benefit from the opportunities of exchange programs and study one or two semesters at foreign partner universities. I would like to convey my profuse thanks to our university for not only creating this opportunity, but also encouraging and supporting students to study abroad".
