Writer, translator Rustam Mirzayev met with first and third year students of Azerbaijan University majoring in philology (Azerbaijani language and literature). The meeting was moderated by Huseyn Huseynli, a teacher of the Department of Azerbaijani Language and Literature. Introducing the guest to the students, Huseyn Huseynli noted that Rustam Mirzayev is a lawyer by profession, and he is currently a specialist at the Azerbaijan State Translation Center under the Cabinet of Ministers. He speaks Russian, Portuguese and English. He has been writing short stories and novels in Russian since 2010. In 2019, his first novel "Почему? Книга первая: Капоэйра " was published. It is a novel with elements of detective, psychology, mysticism and melodrama, which take place against the background of historical events. The events of the novel take place in 1969 in Brazil. He is currently working on a new book about the Ukraine-Russia war.

Then Rustam Mirzayev made a report on the development of writing skills. The guest noted that the basis of successful communication is the development of writing skills. Professional writing skills are very important in creating trust and a positive image on the other side.

The students were also informed about the different types of writing, their structure and functions.
