Training on "Enlightenment of youth about their rights and their distraction from bad habits" has been carried out for the students at Azerbaijan University. The training was conducted by Tural Huseynzade, Senior Advisor to the Legal Department of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs.

It was noted at the event that the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs conducts regular enlightenment activities among youth and adolescents. Taking prophylactic measures to prevent the spread of bad and harmful habits among adolescents and young people, to eliminate dangers posed by those habits is always in the spotlight.

It was noted that drug addiction being one of the harmful habits has become the biggest scourge of modern life. Drug abuse continues to rise and remains a serious problem looking for its solution.

Statistical numbers related to drug addiction and fight against it were also announced at the event, and awareness-raising was emphasized as the most effective preventive measure.

At the same time, interactive discussions were held on the reasons of getting addicted to bad habits, the consequences of the use of drugs on the human body, its negative effects on society, the ways of combating drug trafficking, and students' questions were answered.
