The next guest lecturer of the course "Introduction to Gender" taught by Mehrangiz Najafizadeh, Professor of the University of Kansas, USA, who joined the Department of Social Work of the University of Azerbaijan with the Fullbright Program, The author of the book was Ramida Oktaygizi. The guest gave a lecture to students on "The psycho-emotional situation of women in gender inequality."

It was noted at the lecture that throughout history, our women have fought alongside men for the defense of their country, protection and strengthening of our statehood, and have become heroic images of the human annals with examples of courage, bravery, patriotism and wisdom. Patriotism and heroism of Azerbaijani women during the war, representatives of the fair sex fought for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country with their strong will.

In the first years of Azerbaijan's independence, our women who took part in the Karabakh war, which began with the military aggression of Armenia against our country, were distinguished by their selflessness, courage and heroism. Our national heroes, journalist Salatin Askerova, martyr of the First Karabakh War Garatel Hajimahmudova, first female martyr of the Patriotic War Aresta Bakhishova are symbols of patriotism, courage and bravery of Azerbaijani women. Women work alongside men in various enterprises, manufacturing, industry, agriculture and all other areas of labor.

The lecture ended with answering students' questions on the topic.
