The work of the international conference "Gender problem and modern Azerbaijan" will be organized in the online format through the ZOOM platform, in accordance with the existing extreme conditions.

At the opening of the conference, which will be held on November 27, in partnership with the Middlesex University in the UK, Prof. Victoria de Rijke (Middlesex University, London, England), Rena Ibrahimbekova (Baku State University, Baku, Azerbaijan) and Paul Gibbs (Middlesex University, London, England; Azerbaijan University). About 30 local and foreign scientists are expected to attend the meetings of the departments of this event. This event is in 2017 and 2018 was carried out on a national level, and, starting in 2019, it acquired an international status. Attention and interest to the conference influenced on this decision. The main goal of the conference is to keep the problem of gender equality in the center of attention, disseminate scientific achievements and experience gained in this area, analyze existing problems and ensure the presentation of proposals for their solution, compare the successes achieved in the country in this area with international experience.
