At the initiative of the Foreign Languages Department, an event was held on the topic “How we imagine the future” with participation of students studying in language preparatory groups of English-medium specialties of the Faculty of Business and Economics. Students prepared for the event under the guidance of Department lecturers Sabahat Hajiyeva and Aygun Durur.

The event consisted of two parts. In the first part, the students demonstrated their presentations about their vision of the future and exchanged views on the topic. In the second part, a role-playing game based on a scenario about the future was held moderated by Sabahat Hajiyeva.

Vice-rector for Scientific Affairs Yusif Gasimov also watched the students’ presentation. Vice-rector highly appreciated the students’ language and presentation skills, gave them his recommendations and expressed his gratitude.

Along with Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Yusif Gasimov, the event was attended by Ms. Khanym Guliyeva, Dean of the Business and Economics Faculty, Parvane Movsumova, Head of the Quality Assurance Department, Aygun Gasimova, Head of the Foreign Languages Department, and the lecturers of the Department.
