The mini-football tournament dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev has ended at Azerbaijan University. “Sierra” and “Team 807” teams competed in the final game of the competition in which 16 teams (Gartal, Tigres, Red Devils, NewCastle, Fury, Algoritm, Sierra, Knight, Team 807, Wolves, Karabakh, Siberteam, Turan, Dinamo 807, Hellboys, Dortmund) participated. The winner of the tournament was the “Team 807” consisting of Social Work students.

Namig Abdullayev, a 4th year student in Social Work, was awarded the title of the best football player of the tournament, and Ravan Mammadov, a 3rd year student in History, was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament. The player who scored the most goals was Suleyman Mirzayev, a 4th year student majoring in Social Work.
