The story “Son yolçuluq” ("The Last Journey”) by Safar Mammadov, the Dean of the School of Humanities of Azerbaijan University was published on the site of kulis.az. 

The events described in the story reflect today's reality. A well-known young writer- the hero of the story ends his life without enduring a deep psychological shock. 

Writer - publicist Safar Mammadov is a candidate of philological sciences and docent. He writes his works under the pen-name "Kalbikhanli". He is a Member of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union, and receives Presidential Scholarship since 2013-2014. 

He is the author of “Sənsiz günlərim” (“Days without you”) (1997), “Son sığal” (“The Last caress”) (1999), “Bəxtəvər ölüm” (“Lucky death”) (2012) of artistic-publicist books, 1methodical work (Творческий путь С.Есенина), and co-author of 1 textbook (Русская литература ХХ века). He translated Vladimir Nabokov's “Selected Works" into Azerbaijani.  The author’s novels “Lujin müdafiəsi” ("Lujin's Defense"), “Obskur kamerası”, ("Obskur Camera") and "Mashenka" are collected in this book.
