Fahmin Zakirli, Alizaman Habibli and Amin Gafarov participants of AU_2 team of Azerbaijan University got the opportunity to participate in the 44th ICPC - University Students' International Programming Contest and the South Caucasus Open Championship, from November 29 to December 1, in Tbilisi, Georgia. Our students achieved this success due to last week`s regional stage of the competition and gained results at the Azerbaijan Championship. The third degree diploma was achieved by them. The team leader is Asif Pashayev- the dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication.

It is to be noted that 54 teams and 3 school student teams (out of competition) from 18 universities took part in in the regional stage of the “44th ICPC-University Students International Programming Contest” (XV Azerbaijan Championship). In the competition the teams were instructed to solve 13 algorithmic problems in C, C ++, Java or Python programming languages within 5 hours.
