Training on “International approach methods in the rehabilitation of children in need of special care” was held at Azerbaijan University. The training, which was attended by students majoring in Social Works, was conducted by Lala Kara, the director of the “Joy” Child Development Center, Child Development Specialist, and by Lala Valiyeva, psychologist of the Center, Child Development Specialist. 

The training consisted of three parts: active learning, children`s speech development, images and symbols. The first part covered topics such as active learning theory, principles of active learning, and equipment used. In the second part, students were informed about the TRAS speech program, which is applied in all preschool institutions in Norway, and the third part was about alternative speech tools. 

It should be noted that the JOY organization, established in Norway in 2005, unites volunteers working in the field of Child Development and Child Protection. The main goal of an organization using the active learning method is to create a full-fledged learning environment for all children, regardless of their age and abilities, so that they become independent, responsible, and educated.
