Awareness event entitled “Do not hope, be hopefull” was held for students at Azerbaijan University with organization of the “Fighting Leukemia” Public Union. Rashad Jalil, a representative of the Public Union, informed the participants about activities of the Union, leukemia, ways to protect and combat it, and the activities of volunteer groups.

Then a video was shown reflecting the activities of the Union, it was told about the opportunities that volunteers who will become members of the Union will receive, speeches by volunteers who are members of the Union were heard.

At the end, a special letter of gratitude on behalf of Rector Saadat Aliyeva was presented to Tunzala Verdiyeva, head of the Department of Social Work Organization for the support provided in organizing the event.
