A meeting on discussion of paragraphs 7.1.7 and 7.1.8 of “The State Programme on Socio-Economic Development of the Regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023” and preparation of proposals was held in the Agency of State Support to NGOs jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Gahraman Yusupov, PhD in Economics, lecturer of the Department of Finance and Accounting of Azerbaijan University, also attended the event where representatives of public associations implementing projects related to the problems of agricultural production were invited.

At the meeting, participants were informed on “Improving the mechanisms of public control over the implementation of reforms in the field of agriculture in the country and proposals on the relevant items of the State Program” and the questions on the topic were answered. At the event, Gahraman Yusupov made a proposal to more effectively organize business trips of farmers in order to exchange experience.

The event continued in the form of a mutual discussion.

It should be noted that Gahraman Yusupov is the head of the “Support for the development of rural green tourism” Public Association. He implements projects on increasing employment among local residents in rural areas.
