An event on "Employment Problems of Migrant Women" was 0organized by a professor at the University of Kansas in the United States, Mehrangiz Najafizadeh, who joined the staff of the University of Azerbaijan within the Fulbright program. The event guest was sociologist Zamina Safarova, Chief Adviser of the Information and Analytical Research Department of the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children.

Giving detailed information about the committee activities to the students: the guest lecturer noted that the main task facing our people after the 44-day war is to clear the occupied territories of mines, carry out reconstruction work and form an appropriate infrastructure to return to Karabakh. For a year now, large-scale work has been carried out in the region to address both the rapid reconstruction work and the employment of the people who will return to our liberated lands. In her speech, Zamina Safarova touched upon the methods to restore jobs in the freed areas and the expansion of youth self-employment in those areas.

Zamina Safarova also informed about the working life of a refugee, IDP, and migrant women, their difficulties, and assistance. He said it was expedient to increase appropriate professional activities to eliminate suicides and psychological tension among young people. The guest also stressed the importance of involving young girls in compulsory education and preventing early marriages to build a strong family on a solid foundation.

The event ended with discussions on the topic and answering questions.
