Our teacher staff attended an international symposium in Turkey

The teachers of the Department of Finance and Economics of the Azerbaijan University Konul Nuriyeva, Ulviyya Shirinova, Ruhangiz Aliyeva and Sugra Humbatova attended “International Symposium/Exhibition on Strategic and Social Researches – ISASOR 2018” organized by Strategic and Social Researches Journal and Suleyman Damiral University in Istanbul city of Turkey.

In the meeting of the 8th section dedicated to economic researches and conducted by Konul Nuriyeva, Ulviyya Shirinova delivered a scientific speech on “The new aspect of Azerbaijan –Turkish economic relations”. In the speech the economic relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey were considered from a new point of view. The speech made by Ruhangiz Aliyeva on “The importance of foreign investments  in the sustainable economic development of country” was dedicated to the importance of foreign investments in the sustainable development of Azerbaijan. The speech of Sugra Humbatova on “The anlyse influence of Exchange Rate to Consumer Prices index and other macroeconomic indicators” analyzed the influence of currency rate to the consumption prices index and other macro-economic indicators, and were built appropriate equations of dependency.  The section moderator Konul Nuriyeva delivered a speech on “Nuriyevanın “Tourism Performances and Competitiveness Factors of South Caucasus Countries” which analyzed tourism potential and competitiveness of the countries of the Southern Caucasus.

The articles delivered by our employees to the conference and their speeches, opinions and suggestions were welcomed with appraisal.

The purpose of the international event that lasted for two days was to gather researches of different fields from archeology to literature, tourism to economics, marketing to sociology, and enable them to discuss and share their knowledge and opinions.
