The winners of the internal selection round of Azerbaijan University for the “Accounting Olympics for Youth” were disclosed. Showing high results the students of the Business and Economy Faculty – Rahimli Kanan, Jafarova Fatima, Mammadli Hilal and Saatov Rovshan entitled the right to participate at the final stage of the competition.  The students answered 100   test questions during two hours selection round.

The final phase of the Olympics will be held among the students winning the selection rounds at Baku Congress Center. Awarding prizes to the winners of the competition, providing them with internship at the companies and jobs in the future are considered.

“Organization of the Accounting Olympics II for Youth” project is implemented by “Young Accountants” Public Union in Baku, Sumgayit and Ganja with the financial support of the Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Olympics consists of the two stages: selection round and final stage.

The main goals of the project are to increase analytical thinking skills of youth in learning of accounting, to organize knowledge competition of youth, to present efficient evaluation methods and stimulate them by discovering their intellectual capacity and creativeness, to provide the competent and talented students with efficient conditions, to provide their education development and professional orientation in the future and to educate youth on accounting. We congratulate our  students, wish them success in the final stage of the Olympics.
