Jeyhun Bayramov, the Education Minister presented the membership certificate to the Council members, as well as to Professor Mais Aliyev of the Department of Social Work at the University of Azerbaijan the elected member to the council at the meeting with the members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Education.

Jeyhun Bayramov spoke about the work done by the Ministry on public relations at the meeting.  The Minister emphasized that the State Strategy for Education Development pays special attention to the formation of an effective implementation mechanism for gaining public support in addressing education issues and the newly created Public Council will play an important role in this regard. The main purpose of the establishment of this organization under the Ministry is to increase transparency in the activities of the ministry, to enhance public relations in the field of education, and to expand public awareness activities.

Speaking at the meeting, members of the Public Council said they would justify the trust shown to them by the public and said that the Council's activities would facilitate more effective discussion and solution of various education-related issues.

Then the issues of organization of the Council's activity were discussed.
