Yusif Gasimov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of the University of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Mathematical Sciences, participated as an invited speaker at the international conference "New directions in applied mathematics".

At the event held at the Sultan Mouiay Slimane University in Beni Mellal, Morocco, Yusif Gasimov made a plenary report on his research and new results, and moderated the section of the conference "Inverse Problems, Management and Optimization" . Vice-rector Yusif Gasimov was also a member of the scientific committee of the conference.

Along with various universities of the Kingdom of Morocco, well-known scientists representing universities from France, the United States, the Czech Republic, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom also took part in the conference.

During the conference, Yusif Gasimov also discussed possible opportunities for cooperation between representatives of various universities and the University of Azerbaijan and ways to conduct joint research between our scientists.
