The 2nd round of the competition “Revival of Karabakh - eco-projects” has been launched at Azerbaijan University
Today, the 2nd round of the competition for the best student scientific paper on “Revival of Karabakh - eco-projects” was launched at Azerbaijan University. 5 of the 10 projects that passed to the second stage during the day were presented to the members of the evaluation commission.

The presentation of 5 more projects that have passed to the second stage will take place tomorrow. The presentations are evaluated by the commission members in accordance with the pre-determined criteria, and the results will be announced at the final stage to be held on June 14, 2024 in the academic building of Azerbaijan University.
The winners of the competition will be awarded diplomas of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees, gifts and cash prizes (1st place - 1000 manat; 2nd place - 800 manat; 3rd place - 600 manat). In addition, it is planned to award in additional nominations such as ”The most interesting presentation“, ”The most innovative project”.
The aim of the competition is to ensure the active participation of young people in construction work begun on lands liberated from occupation. The competition involves the collection of new environmental, innovative ideas, proposals for implementing the concept of “Smart City - Smart Village” from undergraduate and graduate students representing all universities of Azerbaijan, identification of young talents and their involvement in scientific research. The main direction of the competition is to identify the best scientific and practical projects that help improve the environment, reduce its negative impact on health and improve the quality of life of the population.
