Rector of Azerbaijan University Saadat Aliyeva met with Mehrangiz Najafizadeh, a professor at the University of Kansas, USA, who has just joined the university staff.The importance and benefits of scholarship and grant programs, significance and advantages of teacher exchange were discussed at the meeting.

Saadat Aliyeva greeted the guest and informed about the activities and international relations of the educational institution she heads. The rector said that the expansion of international relations is one of the strategic goals of the Azerbaijan University. Mehrangiz Najafizadeh expressed satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan again.

Professor Mehrangiz Najafizadeh teaches the subject "Introduction to Gender" to second-year students majoring in social and psychological services in the spring semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The gender researcher is in Azerbaijan as part of the US Fulbright program.
