The scientific article titled “Exploring time and place in NE Arps discourse: a linguistic approach” by Samira Mammadova, head of the Foreign Languages Department of Azerbaijan university, was published in the scientific journal “Revista Conrado” indexed in the basis of “Web of Science”. 

The article deals the linguistic study of the concepts of time and place in the news discourse. Here, special attention is paid to how these two very important concepts are expressed in English-language news discourse through lexical, grammatical and metaphorical means. The latest news about the coronavirus pandemic makes this topic extremely relevant and original, since the presented topic is devoted to two very important concepts: time and space. That is why, in many news debates prepared in the first months of 2020, analyzing how these two concepts were formed, draws attention to the extremely urgent and interesting problem.
