Educational Student Loan Fund held an infosession for students studying at Azerbaijan University on a paid basis. 

Aysel Hajiyeva, an employee of the Fund made a presentation on the purpose of establishment of the Fund, its activities, the rules for applying for student loans, types of student loans and the criteria for granting them. 

In her speech, Aysel Hajiyeva clarified the issues of interest to students about the requirements for granting a loan, as well as answered the questions of interest to them. 

It should be noted that the Educational Student Loan Fund was established under the Ministry of Science and Education by the decree of President Ilham Aliyev. The mission of the Fund is to expand the scope of education, ensure its accessibility and create equal opportunities in obtaining education. The issuance of educational student loans began in November 2021. In the autumn semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, 8 thousand 319 students applied for a loan, of which 5 thousand 582 applications were processed.
