Azerbaijan University is represented by five teams in the regional stage of the "46th ICPC - International University Programming" competition (XVII Azerbaijan Championship). According to the result of the competition 3 of our teams were awarded certificates of honor.

Eighty-seven teams from 24 higher education institutions in Azerbaijan attended the online competition organized by Baku Engineering University. Each command consisted of 3 students and a team leader.

The teams were instructed to solve 14 algorithmic problems in 5 hours in C, C ++, Java, or Python programming languages. The assessment was carried out through an automatic assessment system..

The names of the teams that will represent our country in the semifinals of the 46th ICPC - International University Programming Competition in 2022 will announce in January.

It is worth noting that the "ICPC - International University Programming" competition had held regularly since 1977. According to the 45th ICPC 2020-2021 statistics, about 60,000 students from approximately 3,000 educational establishment in 115 countries participated in the last competition. Teams of Azerbaijani higher education institutions have joined the competition since 2005.
