Azerbaijan University was represented by three teams at the regional stage (XVI Azerbaijan Championship) of the competition «45th ICPC - International Programming of University Students». Each of the three teams was awarded a third degree diploma at the competition.

The competition, organized by the Baku Engineering University and held online, was attended by 63 teams from 16 higher educational institutions. Each team consisted of 3 students and 1 leader.

The teams were given the task, within 5 hours, to solve 13 algorithmic problems in the programming languages C, C ++, Java or Python. The assessment was carried out automatically using the website https://official.contest.yandex.ru/az2020/contest/23211/standings?p=1.

According to the results of this event, 34 winning teams will represent our country in the semifinals of the competition «45th ICPC - International Programming of University Students», which will be held online on December 13 this year.
