The “AU_1” team consisting of students of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies of Azerbaijan University participates in the interuniversity competition “Heydar Aliyev - 100: Engineering Hackathon” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The team is headed by the dean of the faculty Asif Pashayev.

The Hackathon, a computer science and engineering knowledge competition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev, is held with the aim of identifying the potential of talented young students and promoting the application of scientific progress and innovations to the life of society for modern Azerbaijan, of which he is a founder.

21 higher education institutions participate with their teams in the hackathon, which is jointly organized by the Central Office of the New Azerbaijan Party and Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. Each team consists of 6 participants, including 4 main and 2 reserve.
