The next meeting of the “Voice of Books” recitation club operating under the Department of Translation and Philology was held. At the meeting, the work of the English writer Charlotte Bronte “Jane Eyre” was analyzed and discussed.

Head of the Department of Translation and Philology, Associate Prof. Samira Mammadova and head of the Club Emilia Aliyeva spoke in English and Azerbaijani about the life and work of the English writer Charlotte Bronte.

Then the students analyzed Charlotte Bronte's work “Jane Eyre” in English. During the analysis, they discussed the main and other characters of the work and expressed their opinion about what was happening from their point of view.

Dean of the Faculty of Humanities associate professor Safar Mammadov and head of the Scientific Library Naila Nagiyeva also attended the meeting.

It should be noted that the reading club regularly analyzes the ouvre and works of famous writers of Azerbaijan and the world both in Azerbaijani and in English. Thus, students have the opportunity to get acquainted with a large amount of literature by the end of the academic year.
