The teaching of the social work specialty had been conducted by the Department of Social Sciences between 2009-2015. In 2015, an independent Department of Organization and Management of Social Work was established, followingly in 2018, due to structural changes, the name of the department has been changed to Organization of Social Work. Currently, 23 teachers, including 2 professors, 3 doctors of sciences, 9 doctors of philosophy, 7 associate professors, and 2 senior teachers, work in the department.
The department of organization of social work prepares staff in the fields of social work, social-psychological service in education at the bachelor's level, social work in various fields of life activity at the master’s degree, youth work and social work and social problems at the doctoral program.
The curricula of the specialties taught by the department are highly compatible with international standards.
