Department of Translation and Philology
The department was established in 1991 and operated under the names of Languages, Foreign Languages 1, and Foreign Languages 2. In 2017, it was reorganized under the name of the Department of Foreign Languages. In 2022, a structural change was carried out again, and 2 new departments were established at the base of the department: Translation and Philology and Foreign Languages.
The department of translation and philology prepares staff in the fields of Translation (English language), Philology (English language and literature), Linguistics, applied linguistics, German languages, and Linguistic theory at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
