The article "Karabakh railway" by professor Gabil Aliyev, head of the Department of Social Sciences of Azerbaijan University, is published in the journal "Irs Heritage" No. 51, 2022. The article provides information about the railway project planned to be built from the north of Karabakh to the south - Araz River and east - to the Caspian coast in the late 19th - early 20th century. The author emphasizes that the rich natural resources and economic potential of the Karabakh lands during the mentioned period was the main condition for the promotion of this project.
